  • 4 | large | ripe but firm peaches | halved and pitted
  • 1 tbsp | olive oil | or melted unsalted butter

Instructions
 

Preparing and Grilling the Peaches

  • Wash peaches thoroughly. Cut each peach in half and carefully remove the pit.

  • Lightly brush the cut-sides of the peach halves with olive oil (or melted butter). If desired, sprinkle lightly with brown sugar/honey and cinnamon.

  • Preheat your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan to medium-high heat. Ensure grates are clean.

  • Place the peaches, cut-side down, on the hot grill. Grill for 4-6 minutes, or until clear grill marks appear and the peaches begin to soften.

  • Carefully flip the peaches and grill on the skin side for another 4-6 minutes, or until the skin loosens slightly and the peaches are tender but not mushy.

Serving

  • Remove peaches from the grill.
